man snoring

In the little sing-song “It’s raining, its pouring, the old man is snoring” are they saying he died?
“It’s raining,
It’s pouring
The old man is snoring
He went to bed
and bumped his head
and didn’t get up the next morning”
Are they saying that he hit his head and it killed him?
he is snoring, so no, he’s not dead.
I always knew the words to be, “He didn’t get up TILL morning.”

can latenight food caused snoring?

No. Take a look at the link provided for more information on snoring.
Snoring is the act of breathing through the open mouth in such a way as to cause a vibration of the uvula and soft palate, thus giving rise to a sound which may vary from a soft noise to a loud unpleasant sound. This most commonly occurs during sleep.
The cause of snoring is some kind of blockage in the breathing passage. Those blockages can be of many kinds—here are just a few:
Tongue falling into the throat
Allergies
Throat weakness causing the throat to close during sleep
Mispositioned jaw, often caused by tension in muscles
Fat gathering in, and around, the throat

Experience with snoring surgeries?
I would like some feedback from people who have had or are close to others who have had surgeries for snoring treatment.
Please tell me which surgery was done and whether it was effective, short term and long term. Please add anything else related to the surgery that you wish to provide.
No “See a doctor.” or “Try natural medicine first.” comments. I am only researching experiences to surgeries to snoring. Thanks!
I personally never had such surgery, but I have come accross
a blog post telling about snoring surgery experience.
He had throat surgery. He even posted pictures there.

will this lead to a divorce between my parents?
my mom told me she and her dad arent connecting anymore. they dont kiss or hug much, maybe like once a month. They dont talk to eachother much, only when talking about me and my brother. and my dad sleeps on the couch because apparently my mother thinks he snores too loud. Iv cried so much over the fact that they act like eachother are not in the room sometimes. but my mom told me its none of my business about their marriage.
Are these signs of a later divorce? im so worried.
Afraid so. Wouldn’t you rather they be happy apart than miserable together?

How can you reduce snoring in your sleep?
My brother is sleeping right now and is snoring louder than a donkey. Recently he’s been asking me if he snores too loud, and I wonder if I snore as well. What causes snoring and how can you prevent it?
When you fall asleep the muscles in your mouth and throat relax. This causes snoring in some people when the muscles as the air passing through your nose cause the tissue in your nose and throat to vibrate.
Try sleeping on your side or stomach to get rid of the snoring. Sleeping on your back is usually the worst position for people who snore. If you still have a problem, you can try a “Breathe Right” strip over your nose, throat spray, a snore pillow, etc. Google those snoring remedies for more info if you can’t get rid of snoring.

My sinuses clog up only when I lay down and it causes me to snore. What can I do to stop it.?
All day long I am fine. As soon as I lay down my sinuses clog up and I can barely breath. I do breathing exercises to relax my nasal canal, it gives some relief, only one nasal opens up. When I switch sides I am laying on it switches nasal passages. I believe this is the source of my snoring. What should I do?

Wondering about snoring…..?
Ok I have no idea if I snore. I sleep in a room by myself and the last person I slept in a room with was my mom, and my mom will never tell me that I snored because she knows that I’ll stress about it lol.
anyways
Both my mom and dad snore like cows so I’m guessing there’s a good chance I am bound to be a loud snorer(again I have no idea if I snore or not)
Lately i’ve been invited couple times to sleep over but I often reject it because Im too embarrased if I were to snore they’ll see me differantly.
Ok now heres the deal….
I exercise mostly everyday, I learnt to sleep on my side but I don’t think that’s safe enough alone to stop snoring, I don’t have anything like asthma or nothing, and I never ever smoked.
Can anybody tell me any other ways I can be almost 100 percent sure I don’t snore?
Also, any way I can find out if Im a snorer???
record yourself. there are a number of factors that impact snoring, chief among them is muscle tone. if you exercise regularly, you probably don’t snore. Having a large neck (16″ or more in diametet) greatly increases your chances too. Lack of exercise contributes to poor muscle tone, but may also make you fat, thus having a large neck.
Many who snore (like 50%) have a condition called Apnea, which is actually very hard on your heart. Your parents should probably see a doctor if they snore that loud.

Fixing Your Snoring Problem
I wanted to talk to you about fixing your snoring problem. There are a lot of people out there that have problems with this and really don’t know what they need to do to fix their problem. It’s really sad that there is absolutely no conventional wisdom when it comes to fixing this particular problem. If you look at the issue of weight loss, everyone has some sort of idea on what they need to do to fix the problem. When it comes to snoring, no one really knows what to do. That’s why people have a problem with their snoring. I’m going to talk to you about fixing your snoring problem.
The first thing you need to know is that snoring happens due to a specific physiological effect that happens while you’re sleep. Vibrations in your throat create the sound, but there are vibrations when you’re awake. When you fall asleep, the muscles that hold your jaw up let go. This causes your jaw to fall open and this causes the throat to contract. That’s what leads to snoring because air has to travel at a much faster rate. This causes a more violent type of vibration.
When it comes to fixing your snoring problem all you have to do is close your jaw. There is a device that can help you while you’re asleep known as a chin strap. It wraps around your chin and the top of your head to hold it closed. This way it is next to impossible to snore.
