Is there a real solution to help stop my girlfriends snoring problem?

We have tried Breath Rites and the spray and neither work, any suggestions?

puresleep.com. My wife is the snore queen, and it stops hers completely. A little uncomfortable at first, but better than all that noise. We both sleep better now.

Evaluation for sleep apnea also important.

Our 6 week old baby girl has been having nasal congestion that sounds like snoring, this just started Sunday?

while on a trip abroad. I noticed the sounds about 15 minutes into the flight. What could possibly be causing this and how can we relieve it? We just back to the States today and are going to schedule an appointment with her doctor, however I would like to know how I can gently relieve this ailment now.

I found this link which gives me the impression that this is what our baby is having;

get a humidifier or vaporizer and use saline drops…that should clear out baby’s nose

If anyone who has a child who keeps on gagging, snoring, picky eater and throwing up?

Please do not ignore. My son suffered from this due to his pediatrician informed me that it was normal. He was xray (fish view position) facing down, arms stretched up and mouth open. The doctor (allergy specialist) found out that his nasal passages were more than 50% blocked. He gave him (2) different kinds of antibiotic and nasal spray. Now, he sleeps good, doesn’t get tired easily, trying to eat new food, doesn’t gag anymore, suddenly stopped bedwetting. I just want to share this to those parents who might have the same problem.

Thanks for the info.

Post Nasal Drip Help?

Hi, I’ve had post nasal drip for about 1yr and a half now, I’ve seen 2 ENT physicians and they are still puzzled on why i still have this problem…I had a camera stuck up my nose and one of the physicians said my nasal linning is flamed. My nose is never blocked i can breath through both nose it’s usually at the far back where it drips (that’s the most puzzling for me) i don’t snore…. on a good day i could spit about 5 times a day on a bad day its like every 3 min’s. I’ve tried the following for at least a month .

1.Used nasal irrigation
2.Allergy medication (neoclartin n some others)
3.Herbal Remedies such as (goldenseal, tinctures and some others)
4.Drink only fruit juices
5.Ive used every antihistamines, decongestants, nasal steroids in london i could find…any other suggestion would be great..

Ugh, I know how you feel. Post nasal drip combined with my severe asthma is nasty! I would recommend going to a professional allergist, as I did. They can really diagnose the problem. Chances are, it is not just your nose, but perhaps an unknown allergen you have a constant reaction to. (I found out it was the thin fibers in some of my blankets and sweaters!) They can also give you trials of different specific symptom allergy medicine, and maybe you need a combination. Although I am not a doctor, from experience I have learned that most nasal sprays do not prevent post nasal drip. Most sprays are for dry/inflamed/stuffy noses. You probably need a strong allergy medicine. I use Xyzal daily for medication, and it prevents runny noses, which leads to post nasal drip (mucus dripping down throat from nose). The best home remedy is to BLOW, because as long as you blow a runny nose, you reduce chances of it getting backed up and dripping down your throat. Whatever you do, do not “sniff” a runny nose. This just creates a vacuum to create post nasal drip. I hope this helps you out, and good luck!

Is my dog’s snoring normal?

I have an almost 18 month old female cavalier king charles spaniel, who has a very loud snoring problem. is this normal? I know a lot of dogs do snore but this is so loud it wakes us up. Is there anything I can do to help her as I worry it might be a congestion problem, however when she is awake there is no sign of snuffles or respiortary problems and she is a very healthy and active dog.
thanks, I am used to it so the noise itself isnt a problem to me, I was just more concerned that something might not be right.

Don’t worry my Cavalier snores too. Just make sure to keep her weight under control as Cavaliers had a tendency towards heart problems and obviously if they are carrying extra weight this will be extra harmful.

If she has no signs of breathing problems, I wouldn’t worry about the snoring.

Pregnant and snoring?

Im 24 weeks pregnant and just started snoring horribly, well as far as what my fiance tells me lol, I been having really bad sinus lately and I have been extremely tired. I was wondering if that breath right stip would help, and I was going to try and take some tylenol sinus before I go to bed, my doctor said I could take it, so I was asking for some advice on some things I could do to help my problem for my fiance lol thanx for all answers!

the snoring could be from the sinus problem as the channels around nose close up, try the breath right strip first, some tylenol sinus before bed if that don’t work,
Laying certain ways can make some people snore ,and as you are pregnant you could be laying on your back more and this could cause snoring
