snoring hearing loss
My Cat snores very loudly, so loudly that she can be heard in the next room?

Over the past 6 months or so, she has lost some weight due to being on a diet and since she has lost a bit of weight the snoring has got unbelievably loud.

I know that in humans loss of weight is believed to help stop snoring, so why the increase in my cat.

there are times when i cant hear the television over her and have to wake her up, but a few minutes later, shes back at the snoring again.

She doesnt have any problems breathing and is generally fine and healthy, although the last few months have obviously coincided with the heating being on indoors. She is a house cat so does not go out and she likes to drink water out of the bath and plants rather than her water bowl.

Does anyone think i need to take her to the vet, or is it just the way she is? I dont understand why the change since she’s lost weight.
Thanks

is she old my cat is nearly 11 and she snores,

its age
