snoring deviated septum

snoring deviated septum
snoring and breathing problems.?

Friend in her early 20’s, reasonably h/w proportionate at 5′4 and 130 lbs. She snores and you can hear a rattling sound as she tries to get air in and out. She has tried breath right strips, but they do not seem to help. Could it be a deviated septum or sleep apnea? She sleeps with her head elevated, but on her back.

She should go and see her doctor, explain the symptoms, and see if a sleep study would help determine the problem. The doctor can also refer her to an ear, nose & throat doctor to see if there are other issues (such as the adenoids causing this “vibration/rattling” that’s being heard.)

Good luck.
