Since the clock ticks every 5 seconds, the tap drips every 7 seconds, and the dog snores 12 seconds, they all occur simultaneously every 5*7*12 (their LCDs) = 420 seconds or 7 minutes.
B)
Since they all simultaneously occur every 7 minutes and there are 60 minutes between midnight and 1 am, it occurs 60/7 = 8 times (drop the fractional part as it cannot “partially” occur).
