Why has my cat suddenly started snoring?
I’m sitting here at my computer, and suddenly one of the cats has just started snoring. She’s almost 3 years old, not overweight so not prone to sleep apnea, if there’s a correlation between snoring and obesity in cats as there is with humans, but it just kind of weirded me out because I’ve never heard this cat snore before. Could it be the weather giving her respiratory issues, as happens with humans? She’s an indoor cat, so she stays in a fairly well-controlled environment.
This cat has only been outside twice, and she hated it. So that’s not an issue as far as being out in cold weather and being around other cats. The other cat that lets us humans live in their household is this cat’s mother.
