Dog snores like a grown man?
My dog Natalie snores when she’s trying to sleep like she’s a grown man! I don’t mean quite snoring i mean LOUD funny sounding snoring!
She’s always done this and I know she’s not sick so it can’t be that but is this normal?
I think It’s really cute and funny but I still kinda worry a little cause she’s the only dog i’ve ever heard do it that loud?
I had a dog years ago that snored so you could hear him all through the house. It never bothered me, but my husband (who also snores) tried to wake up the dog one time by shaking his basket, and got bitten for his troubles.
The problem is worse in brachycephalic (short-nosed) breeds, as they tend to have a long soft palate that relaxes and vibrates when they sleep.
